2 Mickey Mouses

SO I was bending over the other day and just about to straighten up, when Austin ran over and said, "One Minute mom". He then pulled out a cloth measuring tape and proceeded to measure my butt. He put his finger on his head, like he was thinking, then said, "Yep, two Mickey Mouses". I don't know exactly what that mean, but I think I would like to be down to 1 Mickey Mouse before our vacation to the beach!

Parade, Carnival, Sparklers and s'mores

Looking for bugs in the light. This was around 10:00. PM What a long fun day!

Just kicking back with Batman, and one shoe Charlie. Chase is trying to get Austin's juice.

Sparklers. These things are scary now that I am a mom! Glowing red hot wire, umm who's good idea was that??

Going down the slide at the carnival. Austin loved this ride, and the nice old carnie let him go a few times for free. It was 2 tickets, so $2 bucks a shot.

Charlie and Austin on a dragon.

Talin and Austin hiding from the sun at the parade. It was SOOO HOT! Smart little boys.

What a fun week we had! We are so glad Jodi, Charlie and Matt got to come play. Now it is our turn to go play in their California sun! Laguna here we come!

Our crazy fun weekend

"Steve Erwin" and the HUGE turtle

Austin and Dad Look'n for trout

A cool ambulance. I hope this is the only time Austin rides in one!

Look'n for more trout

We had a very busy but fun Saturday. It started with a trip up the Canyon to our very own celebrity hot spot for the Children's festival. It was really hot, and pretty lame. The reptile show was the highlight and would have been better had the Steve Erwin want to be toned it down a little. I mean seriously, what kid wants to hear for five min. what a monitor lizard eats. He was a little too descriptive, using words like Maggot filled corpse, flesh like pudding, swarming with bacteria, and so on. We didn't even see the end, as the dude wouldn't shut up and finish the dang show. By the time we left we all had sweet sweaty pits, tacos as I have heard them called, and really bad hay fever.

Then it was on to my Grandma Matthews 80th birthday party. More the same, sweaty pits, sun, delicious strawberries and cream, and a whole lot of family that I have missed and haven't seen in a long time. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Then we went to Summer Fest (after another stop to Andrea's for Pizza) That was the highlight of the day. I seriously don't know where all those people come from. I swear they hear the word carnival, and everyone with Mullets, missing teeth, tattoos, and tank tops swarm. It was a sea of white trash. (what does that say about us.......hummm) but after about 100 glow sticks, some rad fireworks, a lot of cigarette smoke, and the Delicious smells of cotton candy, snow cones, hot dogs, and other equally bad, but Delicious things, it was time to call it a night. All and all a fun and event full weekend.

The "prize" in my Happy Meal

So I have been asking OK begging Ryan (Skeeg) for a ipod for weeks now. He looked on Amazon, and Walmart.com but for some reason we never got one. Then the other day, to my surprise and enjoyment, he brought dinner home from work. JCW's my favorite! He handed me my bag of food, and this was the prize that came with the meal how cute is that? I was soooo excited. It makes running a lot more interesting, and my favorite part... it clips right to my shirt.
Thanks Ryan! Your the best! I love you!

Could they be brothers??

Matt Emmerson, my brother in law (we love you, and miss you Matt!)

Ryan, our cousin in law?? It was totally uncanny how much these two look alike, and act alike. They even talk the same, and have the same Mannerisms and both are outgoing, and super nice. I am starting to wonder if they are long lost brothers.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Austin holding Scott's newt or is it a salamader?? Thanks uncle Scott!

Can you fit a tennis ball in your mouth? Brayden, you have a huge mouth. Now where is the de-wormer.

Did it.
Is that a good thing??

Arrrrggghhh, caught me a marlin...........
I love this picture, look at the joy on Ryan's face. Fight, fight fight.

Ahhhh, cute little grandkids

Austin and Grandpa kicken back. Don't you love the sippy cup in the drink holder. Yup, yeeeup.
