We found out today that we are having a healthy baby.........GIRL! We are sooooooo excited and feel so blessed. We have some really cute ultrasound pictures that I will post as soon as Ryan gets home and shows me how. Yah hoo! I never thought I would have a girl. I cant wait to see some pink!

Boy or Girl??

Much to my excitement, I FINALLY made it to the half way point in my pregnancy. 20 weeks today! It is crazy to think it has already been 20 weeks, and at the same time it seems like it has taken FOREVER to get here. It is amazing to feel this little peanut wiggling and kicking inside me. It finally feels real.

I just started going to a new OB, and they don't do your ultra sound until 21 weeks, it has been hard waiting. We found out with Austin at 18 weeks. Next week we finally get to find out what we are having. Boy or Girl?? what do you think? This pregnancy has been completely different from when I was pregnant with Austin, so everyone is telling me it's a girl, but I have heard that that is an old wives tale. I am not going to say what I think, but I am interested to know what you think. I will post and let you know on the 25th!

Chiropracters?? I am now a believer!

So let me fill you in on my super fun weekend. OR as Willy Wonka says, (in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) "strike that, reverse it".
It started on Saturday on the way to Walmart. I started feeling this pain in my neck. No, it wasn't Ryan, or Austin, a real, painful pain. I ignored it because at that point I could. Well after a long shower I decided to go up to bed a read a little before I went to sleep. But no matter how I tried to lay, I couldn't get comfortable. My neck was KILLING a burning throbbing pain, so bad it was actually radiating into my jaw and ear . I was literally up ALL night. The only thing I could take for the pain, is Tylenol (being 19 weeks pregnant) and as you all know, it doesn't work worth crap.
So at 3 AM I remembered that I had some Loritab in the medicine cabinet, but didn't know if I could take it. So there I was at 3 AM on the computer looking up what class loritab was under (A, B, C) It is a "C" which means it could cause birth defects. So I didn't take it. Instead I dug though the towel closet and found the heating pad. I then, because I couldn't lay down on either side, propped the pillows up all around me and slept for the next 2 hours sitting up.

I don't know why, but every time anything like this happens, it is on a Sunday, when the MD offices are closed. I called the on call doctor, who happened to be my primary care doctor (not anymore after this though) and all he told me was that it could be spinal meningitas and I should go to the ER. Umm, yah right.

We decided to try out IHC's InstaCare. All I can say is wow. The doctor asked me if I had ever been to a Chiropractor, I told him no. You see I use to work for a Insurance company and in general Chrio work is scoffed at. They think it is phony, so I thought it was phony. Well he "showed me" what it would feel like IF he were to crack my neck and then Wham! he did it. All i can say is INSTANT relief. I guess my neck was way out of line. It took two more big pop's before he had it aligned, then he massaged it. Oh my, I can tell you, he made me a believer.

Our Super fun Halloween......

So I know everyone has posted about how adorable their little monsters were this Halloween, and this post won't be any different.

We had such a fun Halloween this year! This was the first Halloween that Ryan was able to participate in 3 years! He has either had to work, or has been away on business, so this year he took advantage and took the entire day off.

Our Halloween started at 10:30 in the morning, where we headed off to Austin's toddler class party. It was so much fun. They had so many fun games and tons of treats and prizes. He had a blast. Then we went out to lunch. All three of us. Actually sat down in a restaurant and ate. Wow, when was the last time we did that?? Can't remember. Fact is, when Austin is in the mix, no one usually gets to eat. But he was so good, and we all filled up.

After lunch we went home and carved pumpkins. As you can tell by the pictures, we carved them very simple. Laziness?? we'll just say less is more. I toasted up the seeds, which are my favorite, and we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa for Pizza and Trick or Treating.

Austin was hilarious this year. He finally got what Halloween is all about. Yes, he once again wouldn't wear a costume (3 years running) but I did manage to get him in his Bat Man shirt and a cape. Not to bad considering.

He would not let anyone walk up to the doors with him. He pushed us back to our spots on the sidewalk, and marched up to the door all by his little self, knocked, said, "Trick or Treat, Thank you, Happy Halloween" to everyone. It was soooo cute. Then he would say, "Lets knock on the next house". He had us cracking up, and all of my mom's neighbors as well!

So to end, I just have to say that having kids is awesome! The holidays are so much more fun, and I have a whole bag of candy, that for some reason Austin is more then happy to share! All I can say is I hope Santa stuffs his stocking this year!
