Did I say that????

So last Sunday I was sitting on the stairs, when Austin came up to me and started looking in my ears. I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "looking for ear boogers" (which is what I call ear wax when I am getting it out of his ears)
I asked him if he saw some, he told me "yes"
I asked him what they looked like and he told me, "idiots"
I asked him, "what did you say??"
He repeated,"they look like idiots"
(at this point I had to pause, turn my head and get my giggles out)
I told him that that isn't a nice word, and where did he hear it.
He told me, "you call dad an idiot"
(once again turned my head this time and couldn't help but belt out a huge laugh!)
OK.......... so in my defence the only times I call my dear love of my life husband and idiot, is when he is you know, dancing funny, tells a lame joke, or tries to do a rad move and falls, or crashes into something.
How funny is that. I think I better watch out what comes out of my mouth.......wouldn't want any secrets revealed. The boy has an amazing memory!

CHALK, dirt, wet cement....Mmmmmmm

So I called the Doctor the other day, for a non-related problem (I was having contractions for over an hour), and while I had the nurse on the phone I asked her about my scrumptious craving. At first she thought it was a deficiency, but couldn't remember what it meant. She asked the Doctor and apparently it is just a "normal" pregnancy thing. Not lacking anything.......but maybe some sanity.....

Crazy craving.....

Most people have some sort of weird craving while they are pregnant, mine however, is REALLY weird. Ready?? here we go, it's chalk and or dry dirt. It is so bad, I feel like a drug addicts craving a hit. I see a dusty car driving down the road and my mouth starts to water and I just want to run it down and lick the dust off. I know it is crazy. Chalk is the same way. I lay in bed at night thinking that as soon as everyone is asleep, I can sneak down to Austin's easel and munch on the delightful smelling and tasting white stuff. I just want to rub it all over my hands and smell it, and the thought of it dry in my mouth, oooh man, sound good?? Oh and if you are wondering, sad to admit, but yes, I have done just that. (Both actually) It was just a tiny taste since I don't think it is good for baby Lily, and yes I did crave it with Austin as well. What do you think it means?? I have heard that it means I am low on calcium, minerals or something of the sort. I have even tried to talk my friend who is a teacher into smuggling me some out of the teachers supply closet. Unfortunately he informed me that they only use dry erase markers now. Blahh what ever.

So my next appointment is next Thursday and I will talk to my Doc and see what he thinks it means......for now I am trying to find things that are like chalk. So today I ate a whole Fun Dip the grape it the most chalky.......smarties also a good one....and Tums. Any other suggestions????

10 Reasons I love my husband!

So for those of you who don't know, I am 28 weeks pregnant and suffering from a condition called SPD or pubic symphysis dysfunction. It is caused when the pregnancy hormone softens the joints in your pelvis and causes the ligaments to soften and stretch too much, which causes the separate parts of your pelvis to move independently instead as one piece. I can actually hear mine pop and grind when I walk or roll over in bed and it is extremely painful. So needless to say doing anything is really hard, and puts me on the couch for days after to help the inflammation go down. So this is where my amazing husband comes into play......

1. He requested to work from home when his schedule permits to help me with Austin.

2. He did ALL the laundry, folded it and put it away.

3. He scrubbed the tubs

4. and the toilets!

5. Has done and continues to do the dishes

6. vacuumed the whole house

7. has pretty much potty trained Austin

8. lets me sleep in every Saturday and Sunday

9. has taken complete care of me regardless of anything

10. loves me Austin and our little Lily unconditionally.

You cant beat that! What an awesome and wonderful person! We love you!
