Moab 2008

Moab Burr Reunion 2008

Grandma and Grandpa Burr at the park, they started this all. What an amazing legacy. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for such an amazing time! We love you!

Mom and Dad at Delicate Arch

We all (well except Ryan and Austin who was asleep in the car) hiked up to Delicate Arch. It was a lot harder then I remembered it being, and I was in flip flops. It is 3 miles round trip, and a 480 feet elevation change, the trail map rates it as "Strenuouos"The view was absolutly stunning, and well worth it. Courtney is 29 weeks pregnant and she kicked all of our butts!

My family posing at the Power Dam

Courtney, Shaylee and me Cheese! We love the Power Dam

There were so many gorgeous flowers in bloom!
You have to love the back ground of red rock

The good old Apache, triple AAA, now that is funny.

This is where we stayed. Yep, I kid you not. This sweet trailer is part of the Apache hotel. It smelled just like it looks. Oh and the best part, there was a rooster that lived next door, and it started crowing at 4:00 AM. Only in Moab, and only at the Apache. We had a ton of good laughs though, and we will laugh at this memory for a long time! All that was missing...........mullets.

Belly

Isn't she cute? We love our little Tinkerbell

Kitchen Counter

This is a picture of my painted counter top. It was a sweet light blue, with pink and grey swirls all through it. Not my taste at all. So I decided, since new ones were out of the question, I would just paint the old ones. I think it turned out pretty good. It was super quick and easy, and made a huge difference. It has held up amazingly good. So if you want the new counter top look, but don't want to buy new counter tops, I would recommend a little paint.

Austin and mommy

Austin and mommy being silly. Check out his beautiful eyes!

Ahhhhhh summer......

What is better, I ask then a warm summer/spring day, a swimming pool and otter pops? Nothing. (well maybe a warm summer day, the BEACH and an otter pop, but take what you can get right??) What a fun day we had. We just bummed around all day and soaked up the lush rays of the sun. I am ready for it to stay this way forever.

The Great Escape

We found this snail today, playing on Austin's slide. Naturally Austin LOVES it. He has been walking around saying, "Hi little snail" and "Wook (look) cute little eyes. He is busting out (very slowly) of his lovely jam jar home. Cry freedom little snail.
