Mommy and sweet little Lily Lou
You are all probably wondering if I am still alive since I haven't posted any news of how my delivery went, but I have found that having a baby, and a 3 1/2 year old is all time consuming!
She arrived after only about 6 hours of labor, 3 pushes, in 3 minutes I only needed on tiny stitch. Beating Austin's time by about 12 hour, 25 min of pushing, and a grade 2 episiotomy. Absolutely amazing. Also amazing, I felt nothing other then the need to push!
The big question.....yep it happened again. I had another really bad reaction to the epidural. The same exact thing that happened with Austin. With absolutely no fault of the anesthesiologist. I am ULTRA sensitive to the medication. My Labor and delivery nurse has worked at the hospital for 25 years, and has never seen that happen before. They ended up putting me on the lowest drip possible, and I was totally comfortable. They said anyone else on that low of a drip would be in pain. So there you have it. It is all me. But it does turn out that sensitivity to anesthetics run in the Burr family.
My little girl is 7lbs 4oz, 18 inches long and beautiful! She is such a good baby, and so tiny. We are absolutely in love with her, and her big brother adores her. He really is so good with her, and has been a very good little boy. Ryan is one proud dad, and is so amazing. I don't know what I would do without him and his support. I am one lucky girl, and am still asking what I did to deserve this!

I am so glad that you are doing well. I was so worried when I heard that you had the same reaction. She is so wonderfully beautiful (as was Austin). I am so sad that I am so far away and had to leave before she was born. I am also glad that she is such a sweet baby. After such a yucky pregnancy, you desreve it. You look fabulous by-the-way! And sorry I didn't see your post until now-for some reason my computer it being REALLY stupid. Love you guys!
