A Lily Pie Update

This little girl is turning 10 months old this week, and I can hardly believe it. She is an absolute joy, and is constantly making us laugh. She absolutely refuses to crawl preferring instead to roll everywhere she needs to go. She has gotten really good at this even though we have had many conversations about how much easier it is to crawl. She still refuses though. She will be one of those babies that crawl for a day and then start walking.
She also has a few words in her vocabulary. When she sees the dogs for the first time after a nap or in the morning, or one she hasn't seen for a while she looks down at them and says, "boo woo" She also loves to look at the birds at the bird feeder and says bird, which sounds more like "brrr". SO cute! She is also starting to say something in the way of fish. Sounds like "sish."
She eats good, sleeps good, naps good, plays good, and is ALWAYS smiling! She is well, perfect. Lily Pie we LOVE you!

Air Soft Nerds

I love this picture, the light, the fact that he sitting reading a book with his puppy on his lap. This picture has nothing to do with Air Soft guns but it sure is cute.

Air soft gun nerds. Check out those safety goggles. Wouldn't want to Shoot your eye out.

Pretty intimidating. Nothing scarier then a nerd with a Chihuahua puppy. You had better watch out with these two on the loose!

Dear 2009

Dear 2009,

You sure are getting alot of negativity. I have heard alot of people tell you goodbye and good riddance. Yes you were a tough year on a lot of people, but in some of that sorrow and hardships, you have also blessed us abundantly. I am so thankful to you and the blessing you have blessed us with. Here are a few.

Starting with my number one. You blessed us with a absolutely beautiful HEALTHY baby girl on March 31, 2009. A scary, yet successful delivery, and an angel of a daughter that we wouldn't change for the world.

Second, health. Need I say more?

Third. Yes, on the same day you scared us terribly by Ryan being in a scary and could have been fatal car crash, and though we lost a car, A husband, father, brother and son walked away with just a scratch.
On the same day, a terrible fall left Grandpa alone with a broken femur for hours in the cold, usually a fatal break when left untreated for so long you blessed him and all his family, and he is now walking and being as busy as usual. What a blessing.

Fourth. A promotion. Ryan was blessed with promotion that has changed our lives for the better in alot of ways. With all the layoffs and business closing, we are eternally grateful.

Fifth. A loving and wonderful family, who has helped each other, and put their arms around each other, and just been there when we all needed it the most.

So 2009, I will look back on you, smile, and thank you for all the wonderful blessings you provided.

All my love,

Lesley

PS. Tell 2010 to be just as nice

Merry Christmas

Grandma and Grandpa Burr gave all the grand kids Razor scooter that spark. Pretty cool.

Lily Pie on Christmas morning. So cute.

Austin digging in.

The mother load. Santa was very good to these little bugs this year.

We had such a fun Christmas this year. I feel it came and left way too fast. There is nothing better then being around family, good food, and fun.
And now what am I ever to do with Austin, now that the threat of only getting coal, or a bag of rocks is over? I think we said that to him at least ten times a day. Maybe I will make up my own holiday where mean little elves with green faces, and long nails come into the house all summer and take the toys Santa brought if you aren't good. Then again, that probably wont help with him not staying in his own bed at night......dang.

The newest member....

Hanging out watching a movie

This is our newest member of the family. She is a Chihuahua and she is TINY. My Uncle Breeds them, pure 100% Chihuahua pups, and then get this.....gives them away for free. He could sell them for $400-$600 Per puppy, but he is too nice for that. Yes, I do think I have lost my mind a little especially if you know our other crazy dog Tink, but really how could you pass this up?

If you give a 4 year old a camera, he's going to......

The self picture. They never look good.

Nothing like a sneaky crotch shot. How did I not notice?

OK, so when Austin asked if he could take some pictures, of some pictures in his book, I told him sure. Little did I know, until I pulled all the pictures off our camera, that he took these little gems. I laughed literally until I cried. Oh my, he really should become a paparazzi, because we didn't hear or see him at all. I so love little kids and the laughter they bring into this otherwise boring world. What would we do without them?

Snow Angel

Ahhh finally winter has decided to make it appearance. I know next month I will regret that I wrote that.

He always does this when I ask him to smile, but ONLY when he is in his snow suite.

The PERFECT snow angel.

I knew one day he would think that shoveling snow is fun. Of course, I know one day he will realize that it isn't. So until that day, it will be talked about in ways that sounds fun. Like when you talk about going to Pirate Island Pizza, or the toy store. Think it will work?
