Lily's blessing

Daddy and his baby girl

My little family. (notice the dirt on Austin's shirt...)

Punky little pink tights. (Thanks Linz!) Check out those chunky legs!

All smiles!

We had the amazing opportunity to have our little angel blessed on Fathers day. It was such a special day, and as you can see from the pictures Lily looked like an angel. What made the day especially awesome, is that Ryan blessed her in my home ward, and her cousin Adam was blessed the same day by my dad. It was amazing to see all of the handsomePriesthood holders in my family around her, and one of my best friends husband. He said he was peeking during the prayer and Lily smiled the whole time! What an angel! Oh and the dress she was blessed in is the same one me and my 2 sisters were blessed in, and my sisters 3 girls!

Austins great idea

Thanks to my awesome sister, and her darling little boy Talin, Austin has learned that "the world is his urinal" My sister showed him that he could pee in the creek by her house, Talin demonstrated, and now I have caught Austin many a' time peeing off the patio at our house. Not that I really mind, mind you...I just hope the neighbor don't! So this was his idea yesterday.
In our house you can stand in the kitchen and see the basement family room, so this is what he said.
"Mom, I have an idea, Dad can put a toilet right in the middle of the family room (he points and shows me where), then I can stand up here (in the kitchen) and shoot my pee into it."

Oh man can you imagine the mess? It is hard enough to get it into the toilet without missing the seat.
I laughed really hard at this and told him that it is best to just pee in the toilet!

It's a jungle around here.....

Teeny tiny one, and Sally

They have invaded!!

Mr. Slithers

We found these fellas slithering, and sliming around our house on Saturday. Austin named the snails, "Sally snail" and the snake, is Mr. Slithers. He lives under our porch, and we see him every year once a year. He gets to stay, because he eats mice, and I would rather have a snake under the porch, than mice in the house!

Lilys stats, and an update

8 weeks. Shes asleep, and just had 5 shots!

Her stats

Finished product. We still need to put the wood chips down.

Helping dad.

Check out that tongue.

Our poor little Lily has been having tummy problems the last few weeks. So after 3 MD appointments, we have determined that she has a milk protein allergy, and acid reflux as well. Poor little girl. So she is drinking liquid gold in the form of Enfamil Nutramigen. The most expensive, stinkiest formula on the shelves, and is now on Previcid. Lucky for us, in two weeks if we notice that the new medication is working, we get to try to slowly take her off of the Nutramigen. So pray for that. It is about 25.00 a can, and the can is TINY. Fun hu? But we would do anything to make her happy and feel better. So if any of you out there have any of those 5.00 coupons for Enfamil that you aren't using, I will gladly take them.

So on a better note our little chunker is 8 weeks old today! My my how time flies! You can see her stats above. She is smiling so dang cute, and trying to talk to us. Her little personality has come out, and she is super sweet, and super bossy. So different from Austin. So girlish. She is going 3 1/2-4 hours between feedings at night, which we think is heaven, since Austin was a horrible sleeper. We are just enjoying her, and loving her.

Austin is still just the best big brother ever. We absolutely adore him. He loves his little sister, calls her "princess, and darling" it is SOOO cute. He was rewarded for his helpfulness with a new swing set. He got to help put it together with is dad and grandpa Peay. It has been fun. Come on over to play!

My cute little Niece made me this blanket for Lily, and gave it to me for Mothers Day. I absolutely love it. She picked out the fabric and actually made it. Oh and did I mention she is only 7 years old? Thank you so much Bryton, you are awesome!!!!

My love, my life

This picture is exactly who Austin is. It totally says it all. Absolutely adorable, what a handsome boy!!

My amazing sister in law took these beautiful pictures for me, and I absolutely LOVE them. She did such an amazing job. Looks professional don't you think?? Thank you so much Shay!
